New Bern National Day of Prayer is only two weeks away and we are excited as we pray for the restoration of His Tabernacle to the seven mountains, government, church, family, military, media and business. Join us be a part of this prayer movement. Bring your lawn chair, lunch and church family.

Dear Saints of God,

What a great nation we live in that we can pray as we choose and when we choose. I know there seems to be an attack against prayer and Christians, but if we think about it for a moment no one can really stop us from praying. Praying aloud yes, but not praying. The Word of God states that we should pray continuously and that it is a sin not to pray. My prayer is that you along with hundreds of others will take this opportunity to pray at all of the events and especially National Day of Prayer.

Seek the Lord while He may be found....we know that a judge in some part of the country has said that it is illegal to have a day set aside to pray. All of us understand that God's Word demands that we pray continuously, so if it's not on the calendar, then we still will pray.

Celebrate 60 years of the founding of National Day of Prayer. Come and bring your shofar/trumpet or come to read Scripture on that glorious day. I hope to see you on May 5 and the other prayer events around our town.
